Advocacy

Our advocacy mission is to unify and amplify the voice of water operators across the State of Maine. We are dedicated to ensuring that the perspectives and expertise of water professionals are heard and respected in policy discussions. By working together, we advocate for effective and forward-thinking water policies at both the state and federal levels. Our goal is to influence legislation and regulations that protect public health, support sustainable water management, and empower operators to deliver safe, reliable water to every community in Maine. Through collaboration and persistent engagement, we strive to be a powerful force for positive change in the water industry

Membership

Our mission is to launch a dynamic membership campaign that welcomes and connects water operators from every corner of Maine—including those serving very small, small, and rural systems. We are committed to building an inclusive network that also embraces regulatory agencies, industry partners, and educational institutions. By broadening our membership, we aim to foster collaboration, share resources, and strengthen the collective expertise of Maine’s water community. Through outreach and engagement, we strive to ensure that every voice is heard and every system, regardless of size or location, has access to the support and opportunities provided by MWORC.
